Community Groups
Community Groups generally meet semi-monthly on the weeks following the first and third Sundays of each month. Our community groups meet in various locations and are loosely organized by geography.
If you have any questions, or if you are interested in joining a Community Group, please contact Associate Pastor Collin Gingrich.
Mission
Community Groups exist to bring glory to God by shepherding the members of Proclamation to become more like Christ.
Vision
Our vision is to see every member of Proclamation shepherded by a Community Group so that we grow up to complete maturity in Jesus Christ.
Beliefs
Jesus Christ calls the elders of Proclamation to know, feed, lead, and protect the flock entrusted to their care.
Community Groups are to be led by elders, deacons or by other session-approved leaders.
An important way to live out our values is to organize Community Groups based on geographic community and/or existing relationships.
Christian community is more important than ever in our increasingly post-Christian, fragmented, and atomized society.
Shepherding in Community Groups occurs through in person, frequent gatherings for fellowship, prayer and discipleship.
Community Groups serve as a point of first response for outreach and mercy ministry to those in the group and their surrounding neighborhood.
